Don't print window envelopes or try a different make that are made better. They are often problematical. Video from the maker at the bottom.

Solved: Melting plastic on envelopes

Try uninstalling your PDF program, reboot and reinstall the latest version. It may be the way it is parsing the colours, if the Printer Test Page printed okay.

Anthony try removing the cartridge and gently tilting backandforth a few times. Re-install for good news!

1.Most likely is the fuser assy, depending on what your page count is. 2.Could also be your toner cartridge especially if it is a reman

No, it's an ink jet printer

In reading this HP forum I have found many other LaserJet 1100 owners who are trying to do the same thing as you.

Many of them recommend various cable solutions from Sewell. When you contact Sewell, make sure to specify your printer model, and ask what specific cables and/or adapters you need to make it work vis USB. They sound quite knowledgeable, and seem to have dealth with this before.

Try selecting the image you want to print by holding the left mouse button down and moving it over the text once you have done that goto file print select the correct printer half way down you should have page, pages, or selection choose selection and then print.

Replace toner cartridge drum/blade RS, slim faint outside chance it is a fuser (hot bit rear) problem, doubt feed issue

 

To confiirm to yourself it isn't a feed issue, try feeding A4 via manual bypass (envelope slot) and doing a print using manual bypass tray, just override size missmatch warning if it appears (tick i think when beeping). should do same fault as feeding via cassete

 

You can also print a test page from printer via operations panel to confirm it is printer problem not software.and you can do a paper path test from whatever feed slot

 

To eliminate it being fuser problem try printing and turning the power off when paper is 1/2 way threw print job, remove cartridge and exaimine unfused (still image rubs off) print, if image is fine then it is a fuser issue but be carefull to note how much of a page needs to be printed before image repeats so you know if it is right or wrong.

 

But thats just tecnical possibitys, Change cartridge should fix!

 

Odds are 95% cart 4% fuser 1% others i reckon!
