pull the back off look at the circuit board check for bulging or leaking capacitors.

I'm sorry you have not been given a clear ansewer on how to repair your TV. This problem is down to the actual LCD or plasma screen, if this shows as the screen warms up and stays on then the screen will need to be replaced, you should go back to your retailer (not manufacturer) and report this problem, depending on the store and how long you have had the tv, the tv can be replaced for a like for like tv at store as this is not a cheap standard repair.

Hi I have a 50 inch LG LCD projection TV I think it's about 2005-2006? It seems work fine when I first turn it on, after a while an hour or so it gets blue streaks across the screen from top to bottom about a thrid of the way in from the left side. Can this be fix?
