SOURCE: Whirlpool Super Capacity 465 the oven/broiler does not come on.

More than likely a bad ignitor
Here is how to tell If the ignitor is glowing it should be VERY bright, if it is dim orange it is weak and bad.

SOURCE: KENMORE GAS STOVE OVEN LOWER BURNER WON'T WORK

Most likely a hot-surface ignitor has failed. If it doesn't consume enough current, the gas valve won't open. It's usually a fairly easy fix, once you gain access to the ignitor and have a new one to replace it with. Make sure you unplug the range...

Whirlpool Gold Series stove. When turning on the oven to pre-heat, the broiler came on and we got a fault saying FAULT - PRESS ENTER TO RETRY.

Appears the burner is faulty, check connection at burner receptical first then check with meter for opens. Here is the Whirlpool link for parts repair manual etc. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.whirlpool.com/services/replacement-parts.html&ved=0ahUKEwiCvdH97rDTAhVk7IMKHX4gAtMQFghZMAA&usg=AFQjCNEsdfUwvP3qyVcDj7qJikAtiHTfUQ

Whirlpool WFG510S0AS2 range - stove burners work just fine, but both the oven and broiler does not stay lit. NOTE - this unit has been converted from natural gas to LP

when the lp conversion is done , it is normally just a jet size change that is done
however the air shroud has to also be adjusted to get a clean blue burn of the flame
The just jet change results in a slightly yellow flame which is incomplete burn of the gas and that creates carbon build up at the jet and burners causing partial blockage
I would suggest that you call in an accredited gas fitter to check the problem and if necessary , clean the jets and adjust the air shroud

I have two identical 4 burner gas stove/ovens. Oven is electric except for broilers, which are NG. Each has failed twice. Can I convert broilers to electric?

talk this over with an accredited electrician or an appliance repair shop
It may be possible but the modifications may amount to more than a new stove is worth

I have a 6 yr old Tappan stove, model TGF657BFW5. the burners work fine, but the oven and/or broiler take 5 to 10 minutes to light. when the oven and/or broiler do light, the flame is only about 1/8 to 1/4...

that ignitor should lite the flame within 40 to 60 seconds if not the ignitor is bad.even though it glows red it doesn't mean it's good it works with amps change the ignitor

Hi I am trying to convert my Dacor stove/oven from NG to Propane. We can't find the conversion kit anywhere. Any ideas?

Hi, to convert from NG to LP is easier in some ways but harder in others. The pressure part is easy because LP runs at the same pressure that comes into the house so the regulator is normally locked wide open to allow a direct by-pass. You could just as easily remove the regulator and plumb straight in from the houseline. You don't say what model but usually the sealed cooktop burners will need smaller orifices and the oven and broiler orifices are adjustable. If that is the case, the oven and broiler orifices can be tightened until they bottom out which be the correct output for LP. You would need to remove the cooktop orifices and find replacements which are correct for LP, these are non-brand specific. Honestly, if you go to repairclinic.com and enter the brand and model number, I'd be surprised if you couldn't find the conversion kit. Even the Dacor site should be helpful. I found many different kits available at the repairclinic.com site even without a model number. Best of luck.

Hotpoint oven glowbar not working

My oven glowbar stopped working christmas morning. Yesterday we bought a whirlpool brand (igntr-oven #4342528) because it is twenty something dollars cheaper then GE. My husband installed it today. The only difference is you have to splice the wires (it comes with everthing you need) The first time he put it in it did not work because he had the wires backwards. He switched the wires and now its working fine.
My oven is two years old also.
