it takes two to do this. there are two holes on the bottom part of handle. find something strong to push them in. one person pushes them in and have other person with pliers pull on the plug that you need to remove to get to broken pin. after that...replacement is easy
It is overheating, probably because it is being overworked. Some common problems are overloading the bowl, or forcing too much food into the hopper on top. Once it overheats, it will kick out again rather quickly the next time unless the motor has time to cool. If you are shredding cheese, slow down on the amount of cheese forced into the blade. If you are trying to mix heavy dough you are probably overloading the bowl as well. This machine can't handle over a pound of pizza dough without overheating. The reset button is there to keep from burning the motor out. If you continue to reset and force feed the machine, it will burn the motor out. Good luck, hope this helps.
Are you referring to the spring in the cutter bowl? You will need to remove the retaining nut. The spring will then come out. the part number for the spring is R1776. Whole assembly part # R242.
Are you referring to the spring in the on and off switch? You will have to replace the switch. If you call Heritage Food Service Equipment, they will be able to fax you a parts break down so that you will know what part is needed. They can most of the time tell you how to replace the parts also. You can contact them at 1-800-253-0200.
That plastic piece is a sling disk or sling blade and made to sling product to the discharge chute. Believe it or not, the motor shafts wear out and could be the cause of premature failure. When you install the new sling blade, check to see how much slop/ play there is by moving this back and forth on the shaft, a small amount is ok (1/16th to 3/32nds). The other thing to look at is forcing or overfeeding the unit. You can contact them at Robot-coupeusa.com
The clicking noise is an internal circuit breaker or motor protector. These things are not made to be bogged down or overfed. The motor is heating up & tripping the overload, after cooloing it resets. Time to buy a new one or get the motor replaced ($600-$800)
