About 2 years ago, I purchased a Samsung laser printer, model number ML-2510. It performed very well until about a month ago, when I put in a new cartridge, number ML-201003/SEE which was different from the other in that it had /SEE after the number. With multi-page documents, the first page would print fine, and the second page would jam, and the printer would make a growling noise. Now no pages will print. A second new (expensive) cartridge brought no improvement. If I put the old cartridge back in (the one without the /SEE), it works okay, though of course the print is fading. I can't find any information about the cartridge numbers. Suggestions?

/SEE is the cartridge for the European version of the printer, /XAA is the version for the U.S. I can't imagine why it doesn't work, but there's a reason for the European designation..

RED LIGHT KEEP BLINKING ON MY ML-2510 PRINTER IT STILL WORKS , WHY?

Hi there,

A red blinking light on a samsung printer will often indicate that your toner level is low. It will still continue to work until the toner fully runs out. This is Samsung's warning saying that you should think about changing your cartridge soon. I hope this helps.

Samsung ML-2510 Printer will not work with Macbook Pro - OS X

try to use the Generic drivers and not the Samsung ML driver for your model. In the drivers list type in GEN and it'll show up.

Paper jams after printing and will not exit top output tray

take it back -- Samsung has a year warranty, but if it's brand new, take it back. I've had two 2510's and have been happy until they get some wear on them, then I have the same problem. This ought not to be happening to a new machine.

Installation problems SamSung ML 2510 printer with Windows XP

Why no updates? No windows validation? That could be your problem if that's the case.
If not, I suggest going to Windows update and at least installing all critical updates, if not SP3 as well, and try again

Driver for Samsung ML-1640 for WIN98SE

I got the same problem. It seems they did not develop specific drivers for win98se. However, I found that you can print using the drivers for the old Samsung ML-2510. Win98se drivers for that printer can still be downloaded from Samsung website. I've been using the 2510 drivers with the 1640 printer for a couple of months, and worked fine so far. It seems very little change in electronics from the 2510 to the 1640 model.
You need also Virtual Printer Port for USB from microsoft.
