Norton 360 hello,my name is BJ. I used norton 360 on my pc. , after a short while my pc crashed .. I had to buy another one that has norton already on it for 60 days. can i reload norton 360 again. because i didn't get to use the new norton 360.. Get rid of norton!!! use AVG free instead. free download from thier website. our computers have been working well with this antivirus software.

Norton is a resource hog and has caused us and others multiple headaches.

Hi Sheba,

Yes you can load norton 360 on your new pc. If you have all the license codes, just remove the trial version from your new pc and installed the full version of 360. To uninstall you can either go to control panel -> add remove programs and select the nortan trial software. Or you can find an installation's link under the program list. Hope this helps.

Hello,
You should be able to restore your Norton by using the installation CD. If you don't have a CD and you downloaded it from their website, simply log into their website and they will have it on file for you, along with the installation code. If this does not work for you, you will have to contact their customer service for further installation instructions. Their service number is posted on their site.

easy go to www.mynorton.com and go to down loads. reinstall. if you have already opened an account and you know the user name and password you can get the key and down load from the product page. if you dont have this available to you and have the key you can down load 360 and enter the key manualy. twenty minuts and you will be on your way.

the Norton 360 that you have need to be register to an e-mail in order for it to work, you can try different e-mail address that you have so that you can access the www.mynortonaccount.com and click on the lost password link so that if one of you e-mail is registered it will send you a link to reset password to go to that site, it will give you the product key in side your norton account. so when you call up norton just asked for the link to download the N360 program and use the product key inside the norton account..

I have acer laptop, i tried to uninstall Norton 360 2010 last night, mu computer crashed and i can't get any further on than the password stage without my computer crashing.

You can boot into Safe Mode then restore from a save point prior to the Norton uninstall.
That's as far as I've got - even using the Norton Removal Tool gives me the same issue, so still haven't been able to get rid of Norton And have a stable laptop.

your probably going ot have to contact Norton and have them re-send your user unlock key to you - install your software first it should have a 60-90 expiration

Computer crashed.reinstall Norton

hello ,

i've made these constructions for you :

firstoff try to install any previous norton version ,after the installation go to dir C:\Program Files\Norton 360
then copy the file named CLTVault.dll and past it on your desktop (we're gonna need it later) .
after , try to download Norton 360 v2.0 from here , then cut the net off and install the last version , the old version will be deleted automatically , when you see the activation part in the installation , exit the installation , and restart your computer to bootup in a safe mode , then copy the file CLTVault.dll that we have pasted on our desktop i, try to past it in C:\Program Files\Norton 360 , then agree on the replacement ,then open ur computer in normale mode and continue the activation then it will works fine .

if you brought it online you should have gotten a product key, and serial number. if you google "norton 360 redownload" it should take you a norton page or symantec page. enter "redownload norton 360" in search box and it should go right to it. now just enter product key and serial number and you should be good to go. ihave restored my computer a number of times and this is how i get my norton 360 back without paying again. hope i helped
