Here are a number of resources, but I have been looking at my usual links, but found elements, but not the thermostat. It may be a common part with other models. Phoning is usually the best bet.

Just replace the upper element if you see a break or bulge in it. Also check the spade connection on it at the rear as they can arc and burn out.

Thermostat broken

Good Morning a_t_pearson, this is Z. Thank you for your post! I understand that the thermostat is broken on your top Frigidaire oven; therefore I'm assuming that you have a double-wall oven. If so, please help me understand what you are referring to by thermostat? Is your oven not preheating or reaching desire temperature? Are you speaking about the bake and/or broil elements not heating? May I please have your model number? The serial tag, which lists your model number, is typically located on the front of the oven, on the left side, as you open the door. With this information I can better address the issue at hand. Thank you!

Old frigidaire wall oven model RBE-94N emitting strong odor & not baking

Hello - From what you have described it sounds like the unit has faulty elements or could possibly be experiencing a wiring issue with the EOC. Try resetting the oven by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and if it proves to be ineffective contact a professional to move forward accurately to properly diagnose the unit.

Friidaire model fef367cata electric oven. Both the broil and bake heat up at the same time and are overheating. thermostat is good, don't see any burnt or broken wires. Any help? Boards?

The thermostat's job is to open the circuit when the temperature of the oven has reached a specified point. If the thermostat is working properly, what is the problem?

Frigidaire oven is slow to heat then exceeds set temp set

Normally you should have an appliance spare parts supplier in your area. They generally stock all range of spares for all appliances. You need to pull plug out of the wall and remove the panel covering the wiring to gain access to the oven thermostat. Look carefully on the body of the thermostat and record any numbers you see on a sticker that's present. Then remove knob off in front of thermostat and see if there is a nut attached to the centre which holds the thermostat in position or if there are 2 screws holding the thermostat in place. Use this information to order the thermostat also quoting the oven model number.

Oven doesn't reach temperature setting

It could be the plug/receptacle that the element plugs into. It could also be that the elements have separate thermostats and that the one for the lower element is bad. If you can post the model number I can look at the electrical schematic and know for sure if it has one or two thermostats.

Electric wall oven will not heat up

This is ovenmad from the previous post. I had a repair guy come out and he found the problem to be the Safety Thermostat. When tripped, this allows everything to work on the oven except the elements. He did not have the part with him so will return in 6 days to replace it. That should solve the problem. No idea why it tripped. The safety thermostat is located on the rear of the oven so we will have to pull out the oven to replace the thermostat. Again, this was a Frigidaire Single Electric Wall Oven made in 2004. Hope this helps somebody else.
