How do I turn off the zoom sign on the screen of my Alba portable dvd player please?

i have the same dvd player the pink 1 i lent on a button and it went into black and white i have tried everything and can't seem to get it back into colour again, ive tried pressing all the buttons and nothing seems to work or come up with any black and white/ colour options :(

Check the screen switch on the right top side where the door closes there is a little circle and the release switch usually gets jammed (this is a common defect) you will need a small thin flat head screwdriver to pry out the switch.

I manage to get the manual from Venturer. Google it. I am in UK and I have to phone them and than get them to send the manual by pdf to my email address. No charge. Easy.
The older ones are not on their listing.

I had the same problem. I switched the AV switch from OUT to IN and back, a few times, and the LCD image miraculously and surprisingly returned.
