NFW7200TW code 3E trying to start. Motor attempts to start tumble several times; changed to a very light load and runs OK. Changed motor, but same problem remains. Ran perfectly for six years.

possible motor or board fault need to detemine if the windings on motor are open if motor winding check at pin 1 to2 1to 3 2 to 3 each should read at about 3 ohms if mtr checks good you'll need control board pn 34001497 or 3400469 depending on series $220 mtr pn 34001269 $240

it not a belt, there is a $20 plastic and rubber coupling between the motor and the transmission that has broken.  It needs replacing.

dC/uC unbalance errors are caused almost all the time by a Clutch malfunction. Take a look this post and see if you want to DIY the repair. I will help you through the process.

I would also check the Tub Displacement Sensor. This a thru the lid check and you get a feel of how to enter Service Mode.

Tub Displacement Sensor Diagnostics check.
It is possible the Tub Displacement Sensor may have failed try this check which is in the Troubleshooting guide stored in your washer console or refer to the SM.

a. Enter the Service Mode by pressing and holding the Enviro Plus and Spin Only keys for three seconds or the display reads “00”

b. Press the Super Wash key display reads “in”…something like that.

c. Press Delicates the Display will show “UC” (Unbalance Closed).

d. Push tub to the back right corner of the machine the display should change to “UO” (Unbalance open). Release tub and the display will show “UC” (Unbalance Closed).

e. Press Hand Wash.

f. Pull tub to the front left corner while pushing the tub down the display should change to “UO” (Unbalance open). Release tub and the display will show “UC” (Unbalance Closed).

I have some additional info if you decide to remove the Clutch in the machine if you are going to DIY.
