I will be in Toronto for a month and would be nice to have a map of the city. Does anyone know if the Nuvi 200W (i bought in US) come with Canada map, to street level ?

You would have to purchase the Canadian mapping for that unit as it only has an American database so an update would help. For the price i would recommend getting a whole new unit instead of purchasing the Canadian mapping. 55 dollars would get you the Mapping 99 would get you a unit with both USA & CAN maps that would be up to date with Traffic capabilities. there are still no released maps for Malta. You have to buy them from a local company

change your antena & reset your gps . if that doesnt work , go to www.ytb.com/gizelle and click on " view company presentation" . this may help.

She can purchase the City Navigator Australia DVD and load the Australian maps onto an SD card. Insert this into the unit and she'll then have both S Africa and Australia maps.

The unit should still provide coverage as long as you have the map for it. You can contact this number to confirm if you have the specific map 1-800-800-1020

I had same problem, purchase Sd card, because internal memory too low for all Canada and Usa. search thepiratesbay.org for unlocker program. It works like a charm. Ps i dont know the legality of using unlocker so you may want to consult Garmin.

I think the update is for the lower 48 states only NT 2009

The on board memory in your Nuvi 200 may not have enough free space to hold the map. You may be able to free up some space by deleting maps or language packs that you don't use. (Be careful to back up any files you are going to delete.) Or you can add an optional SD memory card to the unit to increase the storage capacity on the GPS.

The Nuvi 350 comes with US, Canada and Puerto Rico. When you press Where To? and it asks State/Province, type a Canadian Province, such as Ontario. See what it asks next. It should ask for the City. Try Toronto. Then press Done twice. It should provide you with some addresses in Toronto. This should show it is mapping for Canada.
