My screen looks "reddish", it seems to be as if the red tint was all the way up to a 100% and the screen is very dark.
It just happened after 3 years of very good performance of the monitor.
Hello,
We do a lot of LCD monitor repairs and usually when you get the red tinted display it means the backlight tube is going out. This part is like a very small fluorescent tube just like in you office lamps. The tube is part of the display section and is very hard to replace. You can check the power supply first just to be sure. We have a dis-assembly/repair guide on our web site at: www.ccl-la.com/badcaps.htm If you find any bad capacitors you can change them and check but I would be it is the backlight tubes, if so just replace the monitor.
