Hello Lynette, the Sim Card is locate in the back of the phone. You will have to open it and take out the battery and you will see the Sim Card trade.

In order to provide correct directions we need the exact model of the phone.

Out older flip phones and early android phones require you to remove battery cover and battery. Our newer phones you open a SIM door on the side or top of the phone.

To Enable Answer/End Call by flipping open / close the lid you have to enable it in the phone menus. Surprisingly it's not in settings ( where it used to be on older Motorola phones).

there is nothing wrong with your screen, the problem is from the flex that connects your screen to the phone's main board. This flex must have worn out that's why your screen is not displaying any picture.

The problem is common with flip and slide phones. The flex gets worn out as a result of constant opening and close of the flip or slide phone.

I would urge you to replace the flex and I am assuring you that your screen will display picture again. You might also be lucky to find out that the flex is not well fix, that is, it may have loosed contact.

If you cannot change the flex yourself, maybe you should take the phone to a local repairer within your vicinity, so that the flex can be fixed/replaced.

yes, Depeding on where you are, its probabely cheaper at a repair store than sending back to Motorola for repair. You probably need at least 3 parts. The bottom honged part that holds the keypad. Plus the main flex cable and the chrome hinge. However If you are not experined with this, it will be kind of hard for you to repair
