Straight Talk does NOT mean unlock! Straight Talk is a pay-as-you go cellular phone service...A company that sells the phones and the service. I highly doubt that the phone would work overseas.
Call the service number to make sure that they have activated internet on it. Just because you have paid for internet doesn't necessarily mean that they activated it.
