No. You have to contact the seller. Fixya does not intervene in complaints with a third party. If you have a print out of your order, you might have had more luck. Usually, there is a confirmation sent to you related to any order you make. That might be in your email, normally. Or, if paid with Paypal, you might have some success contacting them. Always keep a copy of your order, maybe saving it as a PDF. It gives you something to refer to and even to email back to them.

SOURCE: Problem in Capture

I don;t know if this is the solution to your problem but it might work, as it did for me.

When you start ULead Studio click on the capture tab, then click on the camera icon named "capture video", then in the middle of the page you will notice the "options" icon (looks like a cog) go to Input source and then at the top of the window you will see "input source" again, click the dropdown list and select "video composite". Try that and see what happens.

SOURCE: recording from vhs to dvd

Direct copy VCR to DVD:
- Insert VHS tape you want to copy
- Insert a recordable DVD disc
- Press DVD copy button on front panel or remote control (to DVD).
- To stop recording press the stop button.

IMPORTANT: If attempting to copy copyrighted material the Samsung DVD-VR320 will detect the encoding and will not allow the copy to be made.

SOURCE: vhs tapes

All you will need is a capture card. You can pick these up at a circuit city or Best buy. Then they will connect via the RCA cables. out from the VCR into the capture card. You can also get USB capture cards for ease of installation.
Thanks,
Lee

SOURCE: vhs tape from the library...when rewinded, caused

I know this problem---you put a damaged video tape into the unit---it blocked the video heads up----after they are blocked they will not play back a picture. First: return the suspect tape. Second: you have 2 choices to restore playback on the 3 units. A cleaning tape "may" clear it up but is not a good idea. I usually cleaned these units(yes I am that old that I worked on a lot of them) with a cleaning wand with denatured alcohol--do not use a Q-tip. With the cover removed wipe gently across the heads--they look like razor blades and if it is a four head unit there will be two or more openings in the round chrome drum in the middle of the mechanism-----any shop can open and clean the heads in about 5 minutes each---most shops no longer work on these--I rarely use mine anymore. The cleaning wand has Chammois like a car uses for cleaning up water(Sheep gut).

You could buy one at Radio Shack and some denatured alcohol at home depot---only wipe across the heads--not up and down on them. Look for any black debris on the drum--tape residue-- any black residue will make the tape ride away from the drum.

I do this here for free--so if this helps you give me a vote here. If you need more help or have questions contact me here.

When I playback a movie, I am not getting picture, just block spots and no voice. What could be the reason? please help

Open the cover. Follow these steps in this order: 1. Take a cotton swab and dip it it alcohol. rub it around the head and pinch roller carefully. 2. try the tape again. If no success, 3.take a blank piece of white paper, and put a tape in the VCR. VCR must be plugged in!
Carefully touch the paper against the spinning head and hold it there. Hope this helps!

Can the panasonic dmr-eh75v copy a vhs tape to DVD?

Yes, that's mostly what I use mine for. You actually copy your VHS to the Hard Drive, then copy from your hard drive to your blank DVD. I'm about 1/3 of my way through reformatting my VHS library (800+ tapes.)

VHS Tape Problem

Yes! The cheapest way to fix it is to buy a new blank tape and take it apart transplant the old tape & reels to the new case of the new tape. Be sure to keep your fingers off the surface of the tape.

Good luck,

VCR recording

As with all tape related recording equiptment, the path the tape follows in your machine will collect debris which will interfere with the synchronizing playback signals originally recorded on our tape when first recorded. The "ROLLING" is the loss of those synchronizing signals and the "skewing" of the tape where the heads are now reading between the recorded information causing noise at the top or bottom or throughout the entire screen. SOLUTION for about 85% of machines exhibiting this problem is CLEANING and inspection of tape path alignment best done with a calibrated playback tape for accuracy. HOPE this helps . . . Jaszy
