Hi: I have a aiwa nsx 800 mkII I hear left channel normal but the right channel sound very low ?qhere can I fix that?

Check first it is on all functions. If it is then it will be a power amp fault. As the unit has two channels both of which are identical to each other it's possible to check and compare each channel. So in your case the left hand channel parts are your guide to what is right. Compare first visually the two channels. If something looks burnt or damaged or wrong in the right, but it isn't in the left then you will have found the cause.
If everything looks OK, then carry out voltage tests, if you have a meter. Or a sound test. This involves touching with an insulated screwdriver the two channels while the unit is on. Never touch any part that there is only one of. Unless it's an IC and has two channels going in it. You will hear a buzz if it is working or produces sound. Again a good buzz in the left should happen in the same place as the right. When it's load at one point of a part but weak on the other, when it should be a loud buzz then you have found the faulty part.
Please however check first that it's not the headphone socket that is causing the problem. Sometimes the sound will be OK on headphones but not on the speakers. The socket the headphones fit into can cause this.

Aiwa 8100 amplifier, low output on left hand channel, need to turn balance control way to left.

Aiwa xx8100??? What are the missing letters? Maybe it's a source or preamp problem, eh?

I presume you have proven the channel is dead by trying multiple sources, swapping a different speaker onto it and that the balance control is NOT all the way to one side; headphones don't work either and we're down to proving it's dead before you take it in to a tech, right?

There is the slighest chance that a common control may have developed a high-resistance or 'dead' spot and is causing your symptom. Turn the POWER OFF and operate every control throughout its range a number of times, especially rarely-used ones like Tape Monitors and the Mute control.

If it still doesn't work you might want to prove if its a low-level signal loss or a high level amp failure. One way would be to run an RCA cable pair from the Tape Out to any other device (even a TV with speakers) you might have that accepts an audio input. If IT can't detect receive the DEAD Channel you

Sirius S50 "No channels available"

I had the exact same problem happen to me yesterday with my S50. My guess is that the software got corrupted somehow. I fixed mine last night be reinstalling S50 software via USB cable to my PC. Note: You need My Sirius Studio application loaded on your PC. Be sure to press Exit button on My Sirius Software Ap after you reinstall S/W. Patiently wait for S50 to 100% complete before disconnecting. Then, manually turn on S50 (while holding in your hand); do NOT put in car/home dock yet. S50 will then update S/W. When this completes, now you can put in dock. I don't exactly recall, but I think the S50 indicated the dock was being updated, then it defaulted to channel 184 indicating to call Sirius to subscribe. Since I already have a subscription in place on my S50, I just pressed channel 2 (The Blend) from my remote, and then my S50 began updating all channels. Success! I'm so happy my S50 is now working again! Good luck to others experiencing same problem; hope this helps! I can only imagine the frustration trying to get help from Sirius folks for this type of problem...
