A quick search reveals that the instructions are no where to be found. However, your not alone, on gentleman here has come up up with a rather cleaver understanding as to how it works: Instructions for cooks professional soup maker

Also, there are several other soup makers on the web with instructions, one or another may provide useful information (buttons may be in a different location from yours, but that's fixable.

Hello, I purchased a Cooks Essentials soup maker model 802398 but have lost the flex/ plug attachment. Is there any way I could purchase another of these?

Hello, Vida -

I have not yet found a website selling replacement plug attachments for your Cook's Essentials soup maker.

Cook's Essentials is a brand name of products made exclusively for QVC. I suggest you contact QVC Customer Service and ask if a replacement plug is available:

Best wishes.

What does E2 mean on the LCD

It stands for Error number 2. If it is not in your instruction book contact Cooks Essentials, if they are no help ask for who is your local service agent. They should surely be able to give you the correct info and an estimate as well.

Instructions for cooks profesional soup maker

Hi Derrick, I can't help you on the Instructions for the Cooks as I have been unable to find any on line. There are Instructions for another identical model made by a different company (Coopers)and the eight buttons are marked in a totally different way. I got my almost unused Professional Soup Maker discarded in a dump, minus the lid and filter sleeve. When I discovered the lid was essential as it contained a magnet to complete the circuitry, I got a small one from a toy, switched on the power and moved it over the jug handle top and the thing sprang into life! You have to use Blutack to fix the magnet to the r/H/s of the handle. I used an old pot lid belonging to my dear recently deceased wife and it happened to fit.

I have been working purely on trial and error and simply entering the name of a soup on line and some great recipes come up- however, without specific quantities to suit the machine. It still works well if you just chop up anything you have in the veg basket and put it on P2 by powering on and pressing Menu till P2 comes up. I recommend trying Mushroom. It's great ! There are others.
without the magnet you get E2 (error) on the window, meaning no lid.

I made a filter by cutting down a cutlery draining basket from Dunelm. It stops the cutter from making a slush of the veggies.

Please feel free to come back if you feel I can help after a few weeks of trying a few trials. Don't be frightened, as you can't do any harm. You will get a fright first time when the cutter goes off like a bomb for a couple of seconds! But harmless. I think this machine is good and worth a bit of experiment. I have to make all my own meals now and found the machine a great help for nourishing meals avoiding ready made packet stuff. Any questions just get back to me.

Alex MacMillan, Edinburgh, student cook!). Good luck.

Soup maker keeps showing 8888

Hi Doreen, not a fault. Press the menu button for P1 to 5 which are the Programmes. If you try to work it without the magnetic lid, it won't! E2 shows. I resurrected a Cooks Prof. Without lid or sleeve and am making great soups with an improvised magnet and an old pot lid of my deceased wife's. Works fine. I can't locate Instructions but have bought Soupmaker recipes on Kindle and enjoying some great tasty soups each lunchtime. Happy to share my trial and error experience with you. Good luck,
Alex, Edinburgh

My soup maker beeps when I turn it on. I have reduced the liquid etc but makes no difference. The soup is gritty insteD of smooth but it won't pulsate. Now it just keeps beeping.
