If it's fairly new, the electronic switch/speed control is the most likely thing to go out. Check and see if you can get full speed out of it. If so, then it's definitely the speed control.
If it's been used a lot, then it could be the brushes or bearings/bushings.

Here is one of the companies that sell parts for it. I'm including this so you can see a diagram. (I've never bought anything from this company, I'm not trying to promote them.)

Drill does not work when i press the trigger
Did you take a look at the carbon brushes?. Metabo has what they call Auto stop Carbon brushes. so if they are worn down they will pop away from the motor and the drill will simply not run. this happens when the brushes are basically worn out.

It will not work with my power inverter in my truck, but it works when used on a regular 120v outlet. My power saw and my HILTI Drill work but the METABO UHE 28 Multi just will not work at all??? WHY ???
The inverter isn't putting up enough power to drive the metabo. You may be able to give it a "running start" by rotating the blade along a board while pulling the trigger. This isn't a good practice, however, as the board or the saw could slip, so be doubly careful if you try something like this. Your best choice would be to get a bigger inverter.
