How to I replace the filter holder inside the SK500XL?

I ordered the correct replacement part but I can't easily snap it into place. It feels like it's going to break again in a similar way to before: small plastic curves at the bottom will come off.

SOURCE: Just bought machine. Filter

hi m.fleshman! in answer to your question, i paid $25 for mine used...it's like a $25 paperweight. hold the coffee grinds basket up to a light-can you see light thru just one hole, or all of the holes? if just one, this passed quality control at the factory & shouldn't have passed. i imagine that details like this are rampant on this machine. if i had bought mine at the store instead of 2nd hand, i'd take it back for a full refund! otherwise, it may be that someone put the wrong filter in the package. it's also possible that you may need to take out the spring (if it's removable) from the bottom of the filter holder-i don't know b/c i bought mine used. hope this helps!

Does the b60 have filter and were is it

The filter assembly is several inches tall, with a basket-like holder for the cartridge at its base. The unit snaps in place over the outlet in the base of the water reservoir.

Lift and remove the cover of the water reservoir, which is located on the left side of the coffee maker.

Turn the filter unit's round replacement date dial to two months in the future. This offers a reminder of when it's time to check and replace the filter.

Open the cage at the bottom of the filter assembly. Insert the soaked and rinsed filter cartridge, and then snap the cage closed.

Position the filter assembly directly over the water outlet in the base of the reservoir. Push the unit down slightly until the assembly locks into place. You should feel it click into position.

The coffee stream is weak and does not make as much ciffee as it should. I have descaled the coffee maker and it does not seem to have made a difference.

Clean the Kcup holder.

Cleaning the K-Cup Holder
  1. Remove the K-Cup assembly
To remove the assembly from the brewer, open the cover by lifting the handle. Grasp the top of the K-Cup Holder with one hand while pushing up on the bottom of the assembly from underneath with the other until it releases. The K-Cup Holder is dishwasher safe.
  2. Clean the Funnel
The Funnel can be removed from the K-Cup Holder by pulling on it until it snaps off. The Funnel is dishwasher safe. To replace it just snap it back onto the K-Cup Holder.
  3. Clean the exit needle
The exit needle is located on the inside bottom of the K-Cup Holder. If coffee grounds or cocoa mix gets clogged in the exit needle, it can be cleaned using a paper clip or similar tool. Remove the Funnel from the K-Cup Holder, insert the paper clip into the tube and move it around to loosen the clog and remove any debris. Please note, you cannot poke all the way through the needle as the opening of the needle is located on the side and not the top.
  4. Install the K-Cup assembly into the brewer
After cleaning, align the K-Cup Holder tabs with the opening placing the two front tabs on the bottom and the single tab on top and snap it into place by pushing down on the top rim.

Where can replacement parts be brought for the Crayola Magnetic Double Easel

n order to make the art trays stay on the easel (several people have complained that they easily fall off), you have to reach behind (inside) the easel and snap them on. You don't just sit them on; they snap in place. Do this and they won't keep falling off. : ) if thats the problem....there are no replacement parts...

How can I replace broken mirror glass volvo S40 2002?

You can replace it a couple of ways, my wife broke my side mirror with a paint ball gun, so I just cut a piece of mirror and glued it in the holder. Worked great for years, Till I found a new mirror, and took the real glass out and snapped it in the holder. But you can remove the holder by taking off the plastic cover inside the car behind the mirror, unbolt the holder and hang on to it, it is heavy. You might have to pull the door panel to get the wire disconnected. Then you can either replace it or work on it easily. Hope this helps.

Water filter

It's helpful, but not necessary to use the charcoal water filters. Pull the charcoal water filter out of the basin and open it up to empty out the existing filters. Then snap the water filter holder back into place - you have to have the holder in place even if the filters are not inside.
