Are you saying you see tracks (darkened circuit board) on the board? Most likely you have had a bad voltage surge or near by lightning strike that has burned through the circuit board (very high voltage). if you are talking about the screen image, you got me.
Windows is problably exptending your desktop to the projector, like a dual montiro display. Try moving the mouse to the right, outside the laptop/computer screen and see if it appears on the projector.
If that's the case, go to advanced display properties and set the output to clone instead of extend desktop.
change power cord first and check- then check power fuse inside after you open it(you may need allen key to open it)-if all previous failed change powerpack.
