I've been looking everywhere for a replacement LGDVT418 receiver — so far, no luck. Do you know of other receiver models that would be compatible with LGDVT418 speakers? How about Zenith?

Just enter in the manufacturer and model number of the remote or receiver and this website will search several websites on the internet for a compatible remote. Best of luck! Looking for that lost remote control
In this case, you need to post both the brand names and model numbers involved in your request.Simplest would be to buy a new replacement remote and you can start here: Remotes.com Also, there is no such thing as a 'universal' remote; they are programmed with known codes available at the time of manufacture and sets that come on the market later than the remote will not be covered at all or only incompletely. Some (expensive) remotes allow downloading of later code sets for newer models.
You told the story but forgot the essential ..the exact model of the laptop and if teh webcam is incorporated..and in this case ..you will find teh drivers on the hp site ..It may not have the drivers for your operation system in case you upgraded it ..but you can download the driver for a older one ..Openup the folder after extracting from the archive ..and select the execution file ..click right on it ..select propeties and under teh properties select compatibility ..and force it to install and run in compatibility with the operation system was made for (xo or vista ) if you have windows 7 ..and will probably give you an error on run ..and will offer to install in compatibility mode.. let me know the exact model and the OS you have now ..and I will look for the exact driver.. if the webcam is external you have to look for the driver by its model . Please comment on this . and I will link you for sure..or ..if you do not manage ..look for one of my services here and I will remote contact you and install the web cam .. http://www.fixya.com/users/drifterK anyway ..I will help you if you let me know the exact model .. just in case here is teh support site ..select the model exactly ..and the operation system ..or the most recent one ..and do like I said ..

As far as I know almost any high end JVC will match a compadable changer from another JVC product I say on MOST they will but to be sure IF I was you I would go into a automotive audio store like ABC warehouse or any good electronics store. NOT the super stores like wally world!! there salesman will be able to tell you if its compadible but your gonna need the model of the changer or borrow your sons car and they will look at it as a matter of fact some stores will even install the dash radio for free if its a simple install after you buy the radio. Hope this helps as I know what its like to get radios and equipment stolen from your car as I used to live in NY and in a period of 5 years I got 4 cars stolen and 12 audio systems stolen.!!!! GOOD LUCK and lets know how this turns out??
