Taylor scale quit working. Replaced battery. Still no read out. I tried to recalibrate it. Still nothing. It's less than a year old. Any ideas how to fix it?

From what i have seen EE means overload warning, I looked on the website your scale has a lifetime warrenty on it i would recomend calling customer service @ For Customer Service: 800-289-0944 before messing around with anything.

I called Taylor; the Model 7542 take a 3v CR2032 battery available at Walgreen's, CVS, WalMart, etc.

Same thing happened to me. I turned it upside down and removed the 7 Philips screws and popped the top off. There it was. One of the wires had come unstuck from the metal tabs inside. I soldered it back on and voila! Everything worked fine.
