Do a factory reset to this set, and then check. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.

Audio is out of sync with people talking on television. Any suggestions?

It depends if this happens all the time, or on certain channels, or just on a digital TV, or in certain weather conditions. The audio and video are different data streams that have to synchronize. If your antenna blows in the wind, you could have the video lose sync and take a fraction of a second to get its act together, and by then the audio is on the next word. Some local broadcasts have intermittent sync problems. Sometimes just flipping between channels gets it back in sync.

Audio out of sync

Not much information is provided but generally speaking a sync problem when playing back is not a problem with the amp but a problem with the source file, especially if you are playing a downloaded file. If you are playing a DVD this should not happen. If it is happening with a DVD, please provide further information.
Cheers, Don.

Hdmi from cable box to tv audio out of sync

I would advise you contact your dealer to have a service enginner call out to try & resolve this. This can be rectified with a software update to the TV for the HDMI process.

The audio and video are not in sync

Are the movies you're watching store purchased DVDs? Sometimes with downloaded movies, the audio and video are just out of sync.

If they're store bought, it's possible that you've got a delay set in your receiver. Consult your receiver's operating manual to see if there's a "delay" option.

It's also possible that you're hearing that delay in the TV speakers.

If you've got the audio coming through the receiver AND the tv, you'll hear a slight delay when the audio's traveling from the DVD player to the television itself. This could happen "sometimes", if the tv volume is on, and not happen when the tv volume is off.

Zen Vision:M videos out of sync..EVERYTIME!

ZVM cannot handle the AC3 audio so the AVI files need to have mp3 audio. I have a lot of videos that I have converted over the years that I want to play on the ZVM. In order to check compatibility I have been using gspot. I just open the program, drag and drop the file, and get all the details I need in about 5 seconds.
