Does it have external memory ?
Maybe move apps or files to external if it is telling you internal memory is full.

Your Xperia x8 would be saving texts and whatever else is downloaded with your phone onto the phone memory instead of the memory card, which is why it's saying the phone memory is full. Clear out some of your text messages and files you don't need to free up extra space.
you have to erase the minikit memory by pressing red and green button simultaneously for 5 seconds until you hear a voice saying "memory erasing in progress please wait"
SD card memory is located in ur SD card and Sim Card memory is in the Sim card.
U will have to delet some of ur messeges on the regular basis to keep ur sim free to accept new messeges. if u dont do that then ur new messeges will never reach u and will keep bouncing back to the sender. U can always copy some of ur important messeges in to ur phone memory or sim memory in order to keep ur sim free with some space.
actually its the space in the phone memory not with the memory card,if it says memory full remove your memory card and erase the data present in your phone memory and put the MC and change the wallpaper... RATE ME!!! tnx.
I had this problem with two Renoirs and finally managed to fix it yesterday after months and months!
I went into browser settings and hit reset settings. I took ages and I thought it had frozen but when it finally finished I had 69% free in common memory!
That worked on both my phones so might be worth a try.
