What kind of phone do you use?

If you're on an iPhone and want to transfer pics to a USB drive, you'll have to save the pics onto your computer first. It won't be hard to back up iPhone pics to computer with the help of iTunes.

  1. Plug in your iPhone and open iTunes, then find the iPhone icon on the menu and click Photos tab under settings on the left sidebar.
  2. Check the box to "Sync Photos" and select "Choose folder..." from the drop down menu.
  3. Browse to the desired folder, and select the picture folder you'd like to sync. Click "Sync" button to start transferring.
The pics are now saved on your computer. Simply plug the USB drive in it, copy and paste to transfer pics you want to the drive.

Both devices are USB slaves. You need a USB master, such as a computer. If your computer has two free USB ports, you can connect both machines to the computer and simply drag-and-drop the pictures from one to the other,

If you only have one USB port, then connect the phone drag=and-drag the pictures to a temporary folder on your computer, then disconnect the phoe, connect the tablet, then drag-and-drop.

Getting photos off the phone onto the computer

It will depend on what software you're running on the computer, but if you have Windows 7, just connecting the phone via the USB cord should bring up an option menu (after the computer searches for and installs a driver for your phone) which allows you to "download pictures" or "view files". Even if the menu doesn't pop up, you're phone should still appear on your computer as an external drive. Simply open the drive, and look in a folder called DCIM for the pictures.

How to download pictures from LG900G to computer

Connect the phone's charging/USB port to a USB port on your computer. When the phone asks "Connect to mass storage?" answer Yes. The phone will then appear to your computer as a removable hard drive. Open the drive in your operating system's file explorer (on a Windows machine, press Windows-E to bring up Explorer and double-click on the removable disk). Open the "images" folder and you'll see your pictures. You can then drag-n-drop the pictures to the desired folder on your computer.

  1. Use the USB cable to connect your Phone to the PC. Select "Disk drive" on the pop-up menu seen on the phone.
  2. At your PC, search for *.jpg at the newly added USB storage device (this is your phone). Pictures taken are usually found at F:\dcim\100MEDIA (the drive letter may vary).

How can i download pictures on my SGH-G800 to my computer?

The quickest way to do this is to put your phone into Mass Storage Mode then connect it via the USB cable to your computer. Your phone shows up as a USB Mass Storage Device and you can select the folders you want to download your pictures from.

To set your phone to Mass Storage Mode, do the following:

- Go to the main menu
- Select Settings
- Then Select Phone Settings
- Choose PC Connections from the menu
- And then click on Mass Storage.

When you connect the USB cable to your computer, your phone will show up as a USB Storage device and you can just copy and past files to it like you would a USB Thumb drive. If you select the Samsung PC Studio option...your file transfers will take ALL DAY. Just use Mass Storage mode. Good luck.
