Fuses keep blowing on my Samson Servo 120a

If after putting in the right rating of fuse you have a blow out, then you must diconnect the speakers and test. If the fuse hold ok then the speakers must be checked for shorting or fault in the network. However if the fuse still blows off, then you will need to take out the cover to test within the main board for the power section or output section malfunctioning. First of all discconnect the power to the output stages and test, if fuses blows check the powersuppy section, the rectifier to the main capacitors for reduced values. If not check on the output stages, the drivers, the predrivers for malfunctioning. However you will need some knowledge of electronics to probe stage by stage to isolate the fault. If not get help to proceed. Good day

Hi There the fuse just blew in one of my Samson

Hi there
To answer your question;
If it is not indicated near the fuse holder then look closely at the metal end caps of the fuse.
The value will be written on one of them,
It may look like 2A/250v for 2amps.

Hope this help
Cheers

Whistling background noise with Samson C01U USB condenser mic

Welcome to the world of STUDIO microphones. Super quality BUT you must have a studio to use them. You can't have any local speaker playing into them. You often use headphones lest your monitor speakers will feedback. At the high frequency capability of these mics, you can fry your amps with oscillations above what you can hear!

Can I use my amp with PA speakers?

Yes, but stay within the "ohms" limit of the amp.(probably 4 ohm or greater)

MT HT-TX52 WORKED FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS, THEN THE SUB WOOFER WOULD MAKE A VERY LOUD CRACKELING NOISE ALL OF A SUDDEN, BUT ONLY ONCE IN A WHILE, SO I UNPLUGGED IT AND JUST RAN THE OTHER 4 SPEAKERS. WORKED...

Maybe a capacitor in the amp section is making this problem. The only way to find out is to check receiver in service and find which capacitor is bad...but this is not so easy

Playback only on left speaker

The quick, easy solution is to change your microphone to mono recording. In the attached YouTube clip, I'll show you how to do that.

The short and simple is to go to your Mac HD -> Applications -> Utilities -> Audio MIDI Setup. Select your C01U USB device, and set it to 1ch 16bit. This will set the microphone to record in mono, equally over both speakers.

Samson sx1800 power surge

Hi There,
Manufacturers install protection devices in their audio systems that are there for that purpose, any loud 'thump' or 'crack' trips the protection device so the loud speaker wont be burnt out. Speakers are expensive so the manufacturer does his best to allow you to listen to very loud sound and yet provided protection in case you exceed the sound rating of the output protection device.
In your case it sounds like the protection device has done its job but has not reset, to allow more listening...
Check the operational manual that came with the amp system to see if there are re-set instructions available to you....
If you dont have the reset detail, then phone/e-mail the manufacturer to obtain the reset information...

If there is no resetting you can do as a consumer then it should be no problem for a service shop to do the reset for you...
It may be a simple internal fuse that has blown but if its not accessible from the outside then I dont suggest you go inside and make changes unless you are skilled and trained in electronic servicing...

Cheers for now YUBEUT
