Stupid as it may sound, After much investigation and navigation, dissasambling, cleaning and unsuccesful attempts. Dew detected message kept coming on . Found a solution that worked for my and many others apparently.

Remove the battery, take the cam firmly and hit it with the palm of your hand exactly bellow de base of the battery seat (lower BACK side OF THE CAM,) TWICE or three times. Hit it hard, Put the battery back on, turn it on and it shoukld work like magic. Try it, I thought the same thing you are thinking now when I read this. please go ahead an try it good luck

I have a Panasonic NV-GS 35 digiatl video camera. 'Dew Indicator' error is coming . How can I remove this problem??

hi,dew means you got humidity level to high inside the camera
,press eject, removed the battery and try to use an air dryer an blow air inside the mechanism
thats where the dew sensor is located , for few minutes the let it cool down in a dry place
thats should reset the sensor system, if its not work that mean you will have to
replace the dew sensor.
hope that will help you, thats all i can do from here.
regards Alan.

Get "DEW DETECTED" warning on screen, powers off.

Also try this, take the bottom cabinet off, with the lcd panel facing you and the camera turned upside down and the cassette housing pointing away from you you will see 2 wide gold cables plugged into the right side of the board, realitively the same size, the gold cable that is between the main pcb and the mechanism assy is the control cable pull it our of the connector and clean it with alcohol, you can even take it one step further and evenly trim just a hair of the cable off all the way across just so that it has a new place to set. This has worked for me over 100 times in the past years. Seasoned camcorder technician 13 years experience.

Dew has condensed in the camera. Eject the cassette but leave the cassette door open.remove the battery . Borrow a hair drier . set it to optimum temperature(not vey hot but but hot enough to cause discomfort when blown on fingers). direct the hot air through the cassette compartment door for about five minutes. reattach the battery and reinsert the tape.

Warning Dew Detected

Where are you keeping that camera? I would return this camera if it keeps happening (before warranty expire).

Dew detected

This may sound stupid, but it worked for me.

Turn your camera on. When you get the dew detected warning, take your battery off and just hit the spot where your battery was a few times with your palm, not too hard, but not really soft. Put the battery back on and it should be fixed unless you actually do have a dew problem!

If that doesn't work, try drying it out with a hair dryer.

HELP, my panasonic keeps shutting off. Dew? condensation?

Put it in a very dry place, and let it sit for a few days. How is it getting either dew or condensation? Once dried out, keep it in an airtight plastic bag.

Help! «Dew Warning» in Panasonic camcorders

The dew sensor is in most if not all makes and models. No maker has the corner on dew sensor failures. What is a problem today is that service fees nearly outstrip replacement costs. The part itself is cheap, putting it in costs. A great tech can fix the issue in about 10 or so minutes.
