You can either ring Hitachi service number and they should be able to tell what the error is or if it is new and you had it installed by a licensed person. Call the person who installed it, as it should be under warranty by them.

We just got a brand new MayTag Modle # MHWE200XW00 today. We cannot get the washer to start due to error codes which are, F6, and E1. What is the problem?

It is a communication error between the CCU and the MCU. It could be just a poor or loose connection or either the motor control or computer control. try unplugging it for 5 min then plugging it in again.

E1 error code on air conditioner

I called haier about this error code. E1 indicates that a button on the control panel or the reomote is stuck. I was instructed to unplug the unit and push each button at least 5 times, one at a time. Plug the unit back in, and this fixed my problem with error E1 and the unit works fine.
