SOURCE: check hose error on electrolux wave touch washing machine
I'm sure nojallo1 has already fixed his but I just ran into the same problem and didn't find anything in my searches for a solution. The problem I had was the test cycle wasn't long enough to get hot water through my water lines so it could verify the hot and cold hoses were in the proper places. Solution: Turn the hot water on in all the sinks in your house until they have hot water running through them. This will prime your hot water line so it is full of hot water instead of cold water. Then run the install cycle again and it should be fine.

SOURCE: Kenmore Elite Oasis Wash Machine Error Code F54
The F54 fault code indicates that the control board senses high motor current.
This can be caused by excessive friction in the spin basket.
With the washer off, open the lid and see if the basket spins freely.
If not, you may need to remove the basket and check for an item stuck between the spin basket and the outer washer tub.
The second and third images show procedures for removing the basket on the Oasis washer depending on whether you have an impeller or agitator in your model.
If the basket spins okay, then you can follow the technical troubleshooting described in the first image.
This may help you determine the cause of your washer problem.

I appreciate your post, Allan!
From my understanding your Frigidaire washer is displaying an error code of "E53". An "E53" stands for low voltage to the speed control board. This could be a possible problem with your wiring harness between the motor control board and speed control board or the speed control board. I would recommend resetting your washer in case it is a miscommunication issue. To reset your washer you would need to disconnect power from it for at least ten minutes. If that does not correct your problem you may need to have a professional technician out for proper diagnosis and repair. I hope this is helpful information. -Matt
