One half of "poerdrive" inverter doesn't work how do I access fuses?

To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.

if the half portion of the screen is only black shadow the the cause is either busted screen back light or a dry connector at the power inverter board. to access this part you will need to remove the back cover of the tv unit. the power inverter board installed near the power supply board and then the screen back light is mounted at the upper and lower portion of the panel display covered with metal shield.

check for blown fuse, if the fuse is good replace bulged capacitors. if still doesn't works tried to remove the connector going to the inverter board for screen back light might have shorted line that can cause of power failure.

The most likely reason is that you tried to draw more power than it was capable of supplying. The maximum amount the inverter can supply is usually measured in watts and should be written on it. Yes, I took this unit apart there are 3 40 amp fuses in the unit. (Similar to blade type car fuses). You have to completely unscrew everything plus take off the top lable and plate to access the other hidden screws

It is possible that the In-line fuse has blown as well. you can access this fuse by removing the cover. the fuse is locate din the inverter sector, in line with the power cord. If this fuse is not blown, replace the inverter assembly.

HI, if this unit is totally dead, this may be a power inverter issue. there is a fuse located on this board inside the unit. you will need to gain access to this board and fuse by removing the outer cover. there should be a few screws on the outside of the microwave to remove.

Check the In-line fuse for its value. if the fuse is good, replace the power unit(inverter board)

it sound like too much heat...sometime that will not effect the inverter tell you do something call the dealer and they can give you the part number
