Question about RC Thunder Tumbler Rc Car

1 Answer

How do I fix the remote on the RC Thunder Tumbler RC Car to prevent the tire from spinning as soon as the remote control is turned on?

After unboxing the Thunder Tumbler and inserting the batteries into the car and remote, the rear "driver side" tire spins without interacting with the remote control. Opening the remote, there is a faulty sensor on the right stick that is always engaged, causing the wheel to spin. How do I correct this?

Use the throttle trim control to try and adjust this unwanted throttle application out. Refer to the user manual on how to trim the remote functions

Yeah. It was a gift someone gave to the little guy. Taking the remote apart, I can get the fix to to hold for a moment, but it never sticks. I'll just buy him a new one. Thanks!

I need to replace the battery. How do I do this?

Hi!!

The battery is located in the fender, ahead of the right front tire. Te battery can be removed without reovint the tire, but removing it improves access.

Here is how to remove/replace the battery

Disconnect battery cables, negative first, then positive from remote terminals.

Remove air filter housing

Remove the two battery hold down clamp bolts and clamp.

Loosen right front tire lug nuts, rise the vehicle, support it w/jackstand and remove wheel.

Remove battery cover/splash shield from wheel well

Slide battery toward rear of vehicle and disconnect battery cables.

Remove old battery thru wheel opening and insert new one.
