does the mute symbol appear anywhere on the radio? If not it may be something internal, like the signal processor's gone bad. What model is it? does turning up the volume help? If it's aftermarket, it may have a reset button behind the faceplate.
U should check the line in volume. go to control panel-sound and audio-recording devices-line in properties-and then unmute from here. If already unmuted then check out that ur microphone properties has enable listen audio on ur speakers.
