This tv problems are related to powering up the tv and sustancening the tv power source to the tv itself.Replaced the tv sub power supply board where the a/c power cord plug into it.Try website like Ebay.com to buy a whole new refurbish sub power supply board for the replacement.
I have the same problem. since I have 3 of these TV's, I switched boards around, and I came to the conclution that is the power board. I will try to repair it, and I'll let you know the component that is bad. Gaston
just to be sure, plug something else into the same wall socket to make sure you have power there. If you have power at the wall and the TV has a detachable power cord, try the TV power cord in your computer to see if it works. Otherwise you probably have a faulty power supply in the TV.
