Following a power outage the TV will not power up. The normal blue standby light is off. I have unplugged with same indication. Assume there is a fuse or reset button. Can you help.
I had the same problem, had to sent it to Elpaso Texas to have it fixed, cost $140.00 plus shipping there and back, and insurance total $181.00 plus the $140.00 will not buy another one.I had the same problem, had to sent it to Elpaso Texas to have it fixed, cost $140.00 plus shipping there and back, and insurance total $181.00 plus the $140.00 will not buy another one.
I pulled the power cord from the TV. When I put it back, no power. I replaced the power cord and still no power. Is there a fuse involved? Is it something I can fix? Hope there is a solution I can handle. [email protected]I pulled the power cord from the TV. When I put it back, no power. I replaced the power cord and still no power. Is there a fuse involved? Sounds as if you have the same problem as mine where the 6 FET Transistors have blown. I took mine apart and found it too difficult to get in to fix it so am looking for a new power board.

Is the back of the T.V. unusually warm/hot? If it is your T.V. may be overheating. If it's not in an open area, move it to an open area to allow more air flow. If it is try directing a fan at it. If one of those helps then your T.V. might be overheating and you may need to replace the cooling fan in it.
Just time and patience. If possible use a pencil iron. A gun is too much heat for the board. If you have the exact replacement be aware how the old one comes out.
According to Tatung the problem is the power supply and their don't hhave any in stock to sell. Their can fix the TV if we send it to them for afee of $190.00 plus you pay shipping both ways. The power supply board is made in China.
The power outage simply precipitates a pre-existing flaw in the power supply unit of this TV. You will need to either order a new power supply and put it in yourself, or send it to Tatung to fix. I had the same problem. Contact this person:
