ahh..time for "Q" from 007, eh? this interlock feature is a relay controlled issue. Seems that your washer is telling you that it's closed. most likely a relay replacement in control panel area.

SOURCE: 1 month old electrolux FL IQ cuts off and won't restart

If it is only one month old then you should be covered by the warranty ??

To unlock the door place the drain hose in a bowl until the water comes out, if it wont then try blowing down the hose.

If you hear bubbles inside the machine then dump the hose back in the bowl

Once the water has all ran out switch the machine programmer to "off" and then try the door

The door of the Kenmore Elite 4.3 cu. ft. Front Load Steam Washer won't open

Ouch. Well I believe cll is child lid lock or something to that effect is engaged. You will have to find something to manually turn the locking gear or if you have a manual figure out the watts/amps and use some type of power adapter similar to that to jump the lid lock to open. Turn it off and back on and it should begin working again. But either the door lock, the door close sensor, or the main board are faulty.

I have an Electrolux ewf1090 front load washing machine, about 7 years old. Tried to turn it on. Everything seems fine, all lights and buttons work, but when I press the start button nothing happens. What...

Good Afternoon Simo, thank you for allowing me to assist you. Let's try resetting the washer by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker to the off position. It is important to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn unit on. Confirm that the door is properly latched and try selecting a cycle. If resetting the power does not correct the issue, it could potentially mean a number of things: a potential wiring failure, damaged cord, faulty door latch assembly or control board. Because it could be a number of any one of several underlying causes, it would be advisable to contact an experienced appliance repair tech to assist further.

Finished, wash and spin lights flashing. Door

I just had this problem! To get the clothes out, open door manually (follow answers on other threads here about opening toe panel and gently pulling down on door release). But as it turned out, I didn't need to remove the clothes, and now my washer is working again.

A local repairman gave me this advice over the phone. Make sure dial is switched to off. Unplug your machine, then plug it back in. Hold down the rinse and delay buttons with one hand. With the other hand, switch the dial from off to cold or warm or whatever cycle you want. All the buttons flash a few times, then just the start button flashes. The second time I tried this, my washer worked afterwards. I've done several loads today with no problem.

Washer door will not open. Power button will not

Hi,

You can manually unlock the door on this washer. First you should unplug the washer from the wall outlet and then remove the lower access panel. With the lower access panel removed, and the washer unplugged, reach up to the door lock and feel for a round release ring and pull it down. The door should unlock now.

Thank you !!
