It depends on the true color of the spots. If what you describe as pink are actually Magenta colored spots then I would suspect the Magenta toner/drum cartridge. It is definately not the fuser. The transfer bar or actually transfer belt unit in this case is doubtful to be the cause. A defect in the tranfer belt unit does not normally show up as 1 color. It is usally multiple colors. I would open the front cover and at least visually inspect the Magenta toner cartridge. If you have a spare unit, even an old one to swap it out with even better. Look at the color of the Magenta toner and compare it to the spots you are seeing. If they are similar then in my opinion the problem is in the Magenta drum unit.

hi , I had similar problem,the printer memory is locked on that last transaction feed,
either. check all copy transactions are deleted.you may not reolise you have 3 or 4 still programmed for shedule.
un-install the printer from your pc
the re-install shuld clear it.
set - printer to default mode
you may find your printer works fine on a friends pc, try all or either of above good luck colin leeds

Have you tried upadtaing the firmware?

just put your printer on top of your 500 sheet paper tray ( printer sit just on top of it )

then you have to go in your propertie menu ( on computer)
look for the accessory tab , and check for 500 sheet paper tray ( tray3 )
et voila !!
