My shark steam mop model s 3550 will not produce steam?

There is a tube that goes between the pump and the heat element,I just took one apart and the tube was melted therefore prevent any steam getting to the bottom of the steam mop.Also if it isn't melted or cut the element could be blocked,take a small piece of wire and clean out the hole in the heat element.

The heating element has gone bad.... 2 years is a long time for one of those things... from the volume of questions here many do not last nearly that long...
