Try using a "cheater" plug at the electrical outlet to the wall for your front end equipment. It does a "ground lift". If your equipment plug is 3-prong, a cheater plug will make it a 2-prong.

My tv has no sound

increase the volume to max level .close yourself to TV speaker and listen.if could not hear anything, just turn it off and turn on if you could not hear at least pop sound from the speaker, you will have to replace new speaker.if you are able to hear Buzz noise or very low sound ,sound circuit has to be repaired.

Our notebook sound is gone. but when we connect external speaker then sound come so please solve the driver problems as soon as possible.

if you sound comes on when external speakers are plugged in chances are its not a driver issue you internal speakers could be blown if they were blown you would still hear distorted sound coming from them
is you internal speakers on mute? or maybe on really low volume
you can also go into my computer right click on background hardware tab device manager
and if you dont see anything with yellow question marks over it its not a driver issue
im almost certain its a volume issue with your internal speakers

I have a Onkya TX 910 receiver that has recently started malfunctioning. It is currently hooked up to one speaker and it is putting out very little sound (as if it is on a low output but it is turned all...

Turn the volume down to about 1/4. If you can't hear it there it isn't going to suddenly appear at higher volumes. Never troubleshoot anything with the volume at or near maximum.

Look for a mispositioned Mute or tape Monitor control.

The volume of my speaker is so low, i cant barely hear it, i cant see anything wrong with it, i checked the AC in, i checked the jack for any short circuit still iget a very low volume out of the speaker...

look on the lower right corner of your screen. there should be a volume icon down there. it looks like a speaker. click that and see if it is set up or down low. if it is low turn it up then it should work. this controls the amount of sound coming out of the sound card on your computer.

Sound plays but very low volume even if plug to speakers and amplifier and full volume, you hardly hear anything. Hoping for a solution. Regards,

right click on the speaker icon in the system tray on the bottom right side of the screen and then click to open the volume mixer then make the speaker sound level to 100 %.

or go to the control panel from there click on the sound or speaker icon to open it after that go to properties and then make the volume level to 100%.

This should help to fix the problem.

My new Acer Aspire one D 250 laptop has a very low volume output . All the volume controls are up including wave output but with no success

Right click on the speaker icon in the task bar, lower right hand corner of the screen.
Select "Adjust Audio Properties."
In the popup box, go down to "Speaker Volume." Click "Advanced"
In the new pop-up, make sure that "Laptop speakers" is selected. Click all the OKs you need to in order to establish that setting and clear out of "Adjust audio properties."
Now you SHOULD have much better sound from your speakers.
For some reason, my D250 keeps defaulting to "Stereo headset" which produces much lower volume sounds when a headset is not inserted. So low that you can't watch and hear a video through the speakers and understand what is being said. Once you switch to "laptop speakers" you'll be able to hear stuff. It won't be high volume, these things just don't put out high volume, but it will be reasonably audible, if this was the problem.
