What is the difference bbeteen analog and digital waves?

If you are asking about radio waves there is no difference.

A typical transmission consists of a carrier wave that is analogue in nature. Electromagnetic radiation would not be possible except by an analogue waveform. The information carried by the wave can be either analogue or digital.

The information is carried by either modulating the amplitude (AM) or the frequency (FM) of the carrier wave by the information that is to be carried.

Where is the wireless button?

Sometimes there is a switch located along the front of the laptop or on the sides, otherwise the way to activate/deactivate Wireless is by pushing a combination of the Fn Key (Generally in the very bottom left of the keyboard) and a designated "F" key. If you look at all your F keys (F1 to F12) there should be a small symbol representing Wireless, it's generally a small Antenna emitting radio waves. Once you've found the key, hold down Fn and tap that key and you should notice a small picture show up on your screen regarding the state of your Wireless.

Causes of Tsunami

Tsunami is a Japanese word meaning ''huge wave'' that refers to a series of large ocean waves. It is caused basically due to underwater earthquake, Richter magnitude exceeding 7.5 to produce a destructive tsunami.

Concept can be summarized as follow:

The earth is constantly moving on large tectonic plates. When these tectonic plates moves past each other, collide and/or slide under one another an earthquake results. This is what happened with the recent tsunami that devastated Southern Asia. A massive earthquake in the Indian Ocean measuring 10.0 on the Richter scale jolted the seabed causing the sudden displacement of a very large volume of water. The earthquake temporarily produces a fluctuation in the mean sea level of a specified area. Waves quickly form as the displaced water tries to recapture equilibrium by filling the vacuum that was created. Tsunamis are a series of extremely long waves that are created after a large volume of water is displaced. The amount displaced must be significant enough to create waves underwater in the vast ocean. Waves are formed as the displaced water mass moves under the influence of gravity to regain its equilibrium. The larger the displacement, the larger the wave generated.

may be a problem with your motherboard connector. Try connecting the monitor using another comp and check for the waves. But before this, try to reinstall your display driver.

Waves

Hi hoovs, Waves streaming normally comes from the 60 cycles hum of the AC mains. Sometimes this is caused by poor or loose grounding in the video cable or at times a weak or defective capacitor in the power supply of the monitor or at times low voltage supply to the monitor. If after checking your cables (both power and video) are not loose and are snugly fitted to their connection points and you still get the waves, then you are probably better off returning the unit for replacement. Another thing you can check is if the monitor is getting enough power. If the monitor's power supply is rated 100~240 VAC, then it should work out ok. If it's got a 240 rating and you are using it in 110, then the monitor is not getting enough juice which may cause the waves. On rare occasion, waves may be eliminated by simply plugging in the AC plug of your monitor the other way around. Hope this be of some help to you. Pls post again how things turn up. Kind regards.
