I am trying to connect my 32' viewsonic hdmi tv to my philips dvd

SOURCE: "Display connected non-HDCP compliant" error

The HDMI cable was causing "Display connected non-HDCP compliant" error message to appear.
When I reconnected my DVD to TV using regular cable with 3 color connectors(i don't know what is the proper name for that cable) that error message no longer appears on my screen and I was able to watch my movie normally.

SOURCE: TV wont detect HDMI Devices except a pc.

Something is wrong whith the HDMI jack it's self, or the electronic switching is not sensing a signal is present. In either case the board that has the HDMI jack you are using needs to be replaced. Most all these boards are double printed, Multi-layered or both which prevents replacing the jack it's self. I do have a question though, do you only have on HDMI jack on the unit or do you have another one available.

SOURCE: I just bought my Philips 32" lcd tv and tried to hook up the ps3

you have to first plug in the s-video before you use hdmi so you can set it to HDMI on your ps3 when you go to your setting. Then it should work. If you already did that and it still doesnt work its probably the HDMI cord

SOURCE: Philips LCD TV "47, model PFL 8404H/12, NO SIGNAL on all 4 HDMI

This is quite tricky as it was working until last night and suddenly stopped receiving signals. What can happen wrong?
Do you have any other Player or other HDMI cables to try out. Sometimes the cables would be damaged or PC may fail to detect the HDMI.

Try this out from Philips helpdesk where there is new SW and FAQs are available.
