How do I hook up a subwoofer and 2 more speakers to a Sony 320 output subwoofer with advance tweeters home stereo that has 2 speakers already hooked up?

1st, does the Sony have a dedicated subwoofer connection on the rear panel? 2nd, EQ's normally go in the INPUT and OUTPUT loops of a stereo receiver like your Sony. For example, a tape (or preamp) OUTPUT connects to the EQ's INPUT and the EQ's OUTPUT connects to your Sony's INPUT (tape IN or power amp IN). Remember...all outs feed in's and all in's feed outs.

If your receiver has a dedicated subwoofer line level output, we recommend connecting your subwoofer to this jack. Most receivers will have just one (mono) subwoofer output, while quite a few subs require two inputs. Well, as I know, your Cerwin Vega subwoofer is designed for use with stereo systems. Therefore, it has only 2 channels for input, and 2 channels for output as well. However, you can try this out; the first thing I suggest is that you hook up your main front channels through the subwoofer. All you have to do is to connect the subwoofer input to the front channel output on the amp, then hook up your front speakers to the satellite output on the subwoofer. As long as you make sure that system is working on 8 ohms, I believe this can activate the subwoofer.

This means that you have purchased a three piece home theatre system. Two tweeters and a sub-woofer. Assuming you are using a Stereo player (Tape/CD/DVC)you have to connect the Left Output of the Stereo placer to the Left Input at the back of the Sub-Woofer and the Right output to the Right input of the subwoofer by cables. Then take tweeters and connect them to Right speaker and Left speaker output at the back of the sub-woofer ( note if the speakers are marked L/R, then connect them to the subwoofer output accordingly. In case you are using a 5.1 player, then only connect the front right and front left to the Right and Left input at the back of the subwoofer. You are and you can now start playing your music or movies and and you will get theatre quality sound.
