The machine goes on and appears to heat up but when you put the handle down and push the button to make a cup, nothing happens.

I have the same problem, heating light stays on. Nothing happens. We've had this machine 6 months and it sees light use. I unplugged the coffee maker when when we went on vacation for a week. Problem started when we returned. Is there anyway to reset this

I contacted Keurig at 866-901-2739. Based on my serial number, I was still within my 1 year warranty. They determined that my heating element was bad, based on the fact that the the area above the power cord was not at all hot, which it would be if it was truly heating.

My new machine will arrive via FedEx in 3 days!

The Keurig rep did also mention that the heating elements are sensitive to hard well water, which I have. They have seen issues where hard water requires you perform more frequent de-scaling of the brewer, depending on water hardness. Alternatively, we may switch to bottled water.

Probably your thermal protection have blow-up. you can try to open the brewer and locate it. is usaly around the the boiler and look like a resitance. you can replace it or just by pass(not- recommanded).

Green light goes ON but nothing happens

I have the same problem after using it only twice...the store won't take it back as they no longer carry them, and there is no place local to repair them...and I can find nothing online to fix it. it was too expensive of a machine to have this kind of problem that is not easily repairable.

Have a Bosch SHU43C05UC/14 dishwasher. Water comes in, gets heated, but the unit never seems to go into wash cycle, fills, then drains a little.

This may sound odd but might work.

Reset the machine as to start a new cycle. Add 2-4 cups of water. If the machine starts and runs through a cycle then the water inlet valve needs to be replaced.

Good luck

Machine does not want to start on any cycle.

Check salt chamber and add salt if empty. Check your inlet water flow.

If the hot plate is tilted then it should be able to be pushed back down until it is completely level. If not then it is damaged. Check to see that it is screwed in properly underneath.
