Question about Watches
The "BATT" came on and I replaced the 4 batteries. On the back of the watch on the inside it says "After battery replacement contact AC with battery (s) using tweezers"
Please explain this to me.
This certainly put me on the right track, but i found on my pathfinder mod 2271 that the four brass dots located down in the hole were unacessable with standard flat head tweezers so I inserted a small sewing needle and touched one of the brass dots while bridgeing the distance from the needle to the positive (+) surface of one of the four batteries with tweezer legs.

Got a sea pathfinder and just got it back after sending it away to get batteries replaced. Worked fine for a day or two but now none of the buttons work at all - it is still chugging along keeping the correct time but no buttons including the light works - is there a manual reset procedure without taking the back off?

On my older pathfinder the AC arrow pointed to a hole in the white plastic shield below with 4 "brass" dots. Connecting these to one of the batteries in place restarted the watch.

I have a old PAT-400 pathfinder and was trying to figure out how to get the watch working again after that battery replacement. Seen your post and noticed I had the AC text stamped into the internal plate. If you look at the circuit board above the text there should be two contacts. Use something to short them "tweezers". After that it reset and I'm happy again.
