Had hood open to work on something. Disconnected light under hood by unplugging the socket. When I reconnected it, I pushed it in backwards and heard a little pop. Now I have no dash lights, A/C or rear Wiper. Fuses check OK. Any ideas??
thx
Check fuses and relays ----re check your fuses and relays as well as battery block and ground straps if all good will need a meter to back trace and search for possible wire short or melted wiring in harness

under hood in panel box.First try this, push and hold brake pedal while pushing on and wiggle the hazard switch if brake lights come on then replace the turn signal switch and you will have brake lights.
The best thing to do is scan the computer for codes, if its not shifting correctly then the check engine light should be on, autozone parts store will scan it for free, these codes will help in finding the problem, it may be a bad speed sensor or something like that, start with the scan first.
I have notice that this is a common problem. The socket most of the time goes bad, I don't know why but they just do. You can pick them up at any parts store for around 5.00 each. If you don't have a volt meter and ground straps to test it right, then I would try changing the sockets out. Quick and easy. Let us know how it goes.
where are the relays and how do you check them?
