So I'm understanding that the lock icon stays on no matter what you have tried. I would try pressing and holding the START/STOP button for 5-10 seconds to see if it changes. I don't know how long you've been leaving it unplugged for when you do unplug it, but i would suggest at least 3-5 minutes. If these don't work what I would do is either contact the manufacturer or maybe even a local authorized technician. This way they would be able to assist and possibly have some more suggestions or be able to find and solve the issue for you.
Opening the door while the oven is cooking will greatly shorten the life of the door switches and lead to failure. Always hit "Stop" first unless the recipe calls for it. The instructions for the child lock are in the owner's manual. To set the lock, press Stop/Clear, then hold the "0" pad for more than four seconds. You will hear two beeps and the display will show "LOCKED".
To unlock, hold the "0" pad for more than four seconds. You will hear two beeps and the display will no longer show "LOCKED".
Two options to try:
a) Press the Clock / Timer button 3 times
b) Unplug, wait a few seconds, then re-plug to power up with the factory settings. You will need to reset your clock and any favourite settings.
This should work with all Panasonic Microwave models.
