Output switch timeout. In the back there is a unit with a whole bunch of crescent shaped arms that guide the paper out of the fuser to either the top delivery tray or to the rear. If the paper switch becomes unhinged from the unit, this error could occur. Probably after someone incorrectly removed a jammed piece of paper. Ensure the paper switch is fully hooked on printer. If if is, and the error persists, it could be a damaged motor or connector. Call an authorized Canon/Oce service technician for parts and service.

Dear Sunilkudal20,

the error code referes to an electronic failure in the fuser section.

  • You can try to reset the system by turn the machine off and on.
  • Check if there is no media is in the fuser section.

If this is not solving the issue, I advice you to contact you local service organization.

If you leave your country of origin, email adress and / or your telephone number, I can ask a colleque to contact you.

Kind regards,

This error will be caused by a jamb inside the cutter assembly of the lower roller drawer. Remove the two black Torx screws at the left and right sides inside the lower paper drawer. Next remove the galvanized cover. You should then be able to see the edge of the paper. Grasp it firmly with a pair of needle nose pliers and pull straight up and out. Clear your errors and commence printing.

OCE Plotwave 345 error codes 22551(printer) and 22531(printer)

This article is about two printer error codes, 22551 and 22531. These codes are associated with the OCE Plotwave 345 printer. The error code 22551 means that the printer has lost its connection to the computer, and the error code 22531 means that there is a communication problem between the printer and the computer.

OCE PlotWave 300. Error 8130. Hello, OCE PlotWave 300. Error 8130. What it for an error and how to get rid of it?

Fuser Temperature Protection Circuit Failed. Turn off the printer completely. Power off in front, and turn off main power at right, rear, bottom and unplug from the wall. Open up the fuser and take off the right hand cover. This is High Voltage. If you are uncomfortable with risking your health, do not proceed further. You will see 4 connectors (black, usually but with red insulators) that plug into the right hand side of the fuser. Unplug them and check the connectors as well as test if they are seated correctly. Ensure the red insulating jackets are pushed toward the connectors. IF everything looks OK, and the printer still exhibits this error code you will have to call an authorized Oce service technician.

Oce Plotwave 360. What causes errors 15528 and 55228?

There is something wrong with the paper switch, the unit with several crescent shaped guides in the back. Ensure it is properly installed in the unit and all of the paper guides are in place. Occasionally these fail, and the entire paper switch needs to be replaced. Call an authorized Canon/Oce technician for parts and service.

I have an Oce Plotwave 300 giving 22529 errors. Have replaced the spider board and usb cables. Any suggestions ?

Clean the paper tray, rollers, and clear any jams. The OCE Plotwave, being a large scale printer (used for posters and the like) is prone to jams and gumming up of the rollers. The error occurs when the paper doesn't move along properly and the sensors that read the surface and adjust the paper can't get it to adjust. Other issues can cause the same generic error. This includes incorrect PIN settings on the mainboard (some of these printers have PIN controllers that determine if it will read a certain way). It could be a read/write error in the USB control board (check to make sure all ribbons are correctly seated and all connections are making proper contact and are in the right ports). I suggest trying the OCE cleaning tool to see if that helps. Oc PlotWave 300.

Oce plotwave 300 error code 15528

There is a device called a paper switch on the back of the unit. It deflects and guides the paper to either the top delivery or outputs to the rear. Ensure it is installed properly and not knocked off of its mounting brackets/hooks. Also, check the connector on the rear right side of the paper switch to make sure it is plugged into the back of the printer. If everything looks ok, power on the printer. The paper switch will cycle positions. If it doesn't the motor in the paper switch may have failed or perhaps it is just the sensor. Unfortunately, if it is the paper switch, the entire paper switch will have to be replaced. It is pricey.
