probably a faulty transmission, you probably need to see a transmission man , a good independent is probably the correct man to visit. This reticence to shift is probably not a job to tackle yourself

This could be several things. This means it has tried to harvest the ice 3 consecutive times before the machine has locked out.

1. Likely Cause, Ice bridge thickness too small, not enough ice to open curtain. PROBABLE SOLUTION, Check and adjust if needed.

2. LIKELY CAUSE, ice bridge too large, ice frozen to evaporator frame. PROBABLE SOLUTION, Check and adjust if needed.

3. LIKELY CAUSE, Purge valve does not open, water melts ice bridge, not enough ice to open curtain. PROBABLE SOLUTION, Check purge valve during harvest.

4. LIKELY CAUSE, incomplete ice formation. PROBABLE SOLUTION, Check water distributor for partially plugged holes. The machine needs to be cleaned and sanitized every 6 months.

5. LIKELY CAUSE, Curtain out of position. PROBABLE SOLUTION, check curtain for swing restriction.

6. LIKELY CAUSE, Curtain switch dose not open when curtain does. PROBABLE SOLUTION, Check switch with ohmmeter if bad replace.

7. LIKELY CAUSE. Machine in very cold ambient. PROBABLE SOLUTION. Move machine to a warmer location.

8. LIKELY CAUSE. Hot gas valve does not open during harvest. PROBABLE SOLUTION. Check hot gas valve with a volt meter during harvest mode to see if you are getting correct voltage to it. If not then replace control board . IF yes and valve is not opening then replace valve.

9. LIKELY CAUSE. Harvest assist probe out of position - ejector pin not retracted. PROBABLE SOLUTION. Check harvest assist mechanism - spring should retract pin.

10. LIKELY CAUSE. Damaged evaporator. PROBABLE SOLUTION. Check evaporator surface. Make sure the plates where they intercept each other is not loose this will cause ice to hang up. check to make sure the nickel is not peeling off, if so then the plate will need to be replaced.

11. LIKELY CAUSE. Fan motor stays on during harvest. PROBABLE SOLUTION. Check controller using test mode. If this dose not help you then give me the model number so i know what machine you have.

Unit is off& Refrigeration diagnostic light is on or blinking. Possible Cause,( Low discharge or long freeze cycle. Probable correction, if the Refrigeration light is glowing steadily there is a probable refrigeration problem.) 2. Possible cause. Harvest problem. Probable Correction. If refrigeration light blinks once and repeats, Look for a harvest Problem.**On Controllers 17-1 and higher, This also indicates that cubes were (sensed) by the bin controls. 3. Possible Cause. Hot gas valve failure, Probable Correction. Check hot gas valve operation. 4. Possible Cause, High Discharge Temp. Probable Correction, If the refrigeration diagnostic light blinks 3 times and then repeats, check for a reason for high discharge temperatures. 5. possible Cause, Harvest problem. Probable Correction, Controllers 17-1 and higher, if the light blinks 2 times and repeats, check for a harvest error- no cubes sensed. 6. Possible Cause, Unit dose not go into harvest - exceeds maximum freeze time. Probable Correction, Push and release off button. Push and release Freeze button. Check operation. next Push cube size float down and check operation. 7. Possible Cause, Exceeds maxi harvest time. Probable Correction, Check for cause of long harvest cycle. Try not to put any gauges on system until you have to. Every time you do you loose refrigerant out of the system.

If you have nine marbles in a bag, four of which are blue, then the probability of reaching in and pulling out a blue marble is four out of nine, or 4 divided by 9.

Stay in the normal computational mode and press 4 / 9 =

If you want to know the probability of pulling out three (for example) marbles and getting at least one blue marble, then you get into combinatorics. The answer depends on whether or not you replace each marble after pulling it out (Sampling with/without replacement).

Probability is a rich and varied field of mathematics. People have spent lifetimes studying it.

Your empty pump filter is probably blocked. Not enough water getting evacuated when it empties so the spin cycle wont run. The filter is probably on the front of the machine at the bottom (probably behind a little door).

With two people in the room, the probability that the second person shares a birthday with the first is 1/365 (let's ignore leap years for the time being). Thus, the probability that they DON'T share a birthday is 364/365.

Add a third person. The probability that this person does not share a birthday with either of the first two (assuming they don't share a birthday) is 363/365. Thus, the probability that none of the three share a birthday is (364/365)*(363/365).

The probability that a fourth person doesn't share a birthday with any of the first three is 362/365. Thus the probability that none of the four share a birthday is (364/365)*(363/365)*(362/365).

See the pattern here? The probability of the n-th person not sharing a birthday is (366-n)/365. Keep adding people and multiplying the terms together until the probability of no one sharing a birthday drops below 0.5 --- which is when the probability of at least one pair sharing a birthday climbs above 50%.

Since this sounds like a homework problem, you'll have to do the rest.

There can be three possibility for winning only one tender. Can win only a or only win b or only win c.

probability for winning a = 0.2.

probability of loosing a = 1 - 0.2 =0.8.

Similarly probability of loosing b and c are 0.7 and 0.6 respectively.

so probability of winning only one tender = win a * lose b * lose c + lose a* win b * lose c + lose a * lose b * lose c.

= 0.2 * 0.7 * 0.6+ 0.8 * 0.3 * 0.6 + 0.8 * 0.7 * 0.4

= .452 is the probability of getting only one tender.

Thank you.

That depends on what you mean by "solve probability." You could study probability for a year in college and not come close to covering all the types of probability problems. Do you want the number of combinations or permutations? The upper or lower tail of some probability distribution? The inverse distribution?
