A few yrs ago I purchased the Eureka Boss Model 93B. I love it! i've already replace the battery pack once, but now I can't seem to find a compatible battery pack since they said they no longer have this, it was replaced by model 96F, which doesn't Fit the 93B. Any ideas where I can get another battery pack. All the new stick vacs convert to hand vacs and aren't as powerful. Wherever I do find the Battery Pack on the internet, they all say they are not in stock.

If you can dismantle it you will either discover a number of separate cells glued and soldered to a circuit board or a battery pack connected by wires.
Both ebay and Amazon are likely to be able to provide a replacement for either much cheaper than replacing the vac, though in the case of a battery pack it might be necessary to make a minor modification to the wire/plug.
If you are handy with a soldering iron, and don't mind spending a few hours building a new battery pack using 1.2 volt "sub c" cells, you can disassemble the PHV1800, and rebuild the pack yourself. I just did it tonight, and the vacuum works like new.
However, I'm not going to do this again. The PHV1800 doesn't use a single battery pack, but 2 packs that have to be assembled with very little room for error. You can purchase a combination battery pack/motor assembly for $75 (US currency, price currect as of 10/2011), unscrew the screws that hold the vacuum together, and replace the battery/motor unit as one.

Price of Belt: $ 7.49 from www3.sears.com
Part No. 61110A
Price of Bag: $7.99 for a pack of 3.
Part No. 61115A or Eureka Bag Type RR
Estimated Repair Cost: $75-90 pending parts and labor rates
The likely possibility is that the belt was installed wrong. Without seeing the unit myself, I cannot say if the pulleys are mis-aligned. I will get back to you if I find any new information.
