Error code 12 is no problem found. I would make sure I had the right bulb, make sure it is seated properly, and make sure the door to the lamp box is on correctly. If that doesn't work, and you still have the old bulb, put it back in. Even if it doesn't work it will display a bad bulb code and not the current one if your new bulb is incompatible. Sometimes that happens when you get a new bulb with incompatible specs.

    Well that doesn't make sense because we had a different code last time and that bulb was sent back to Amazon ...so we had to order this new one and now the code is no errors..but it won't turn on still ya here the noise like it's going to turn on but it doesn't it just goes rite to the blinking red light....I have readjusted the bulb everything is clean so i don't no what else to do .????

Did your replace lamp come on the screen or did you lose picture? Just because the LED indicator suggest replace lamp it doesn't mean it needs it. If your pix was dull or loss of brightness then replace it, if not then just reset your lamp timer, check your owners manual for instructions.

SOURCE: red lamp light comes on. do i need a tech or can i replace

You will be able to do it your self.. On the back of your tv there will be a door held in place by philips screws. Take the door off and then the lamp is secured by a few more coin screws( a nickle works). Remove them and remove your lamp.. Install your new lamp be very carefull not to touch your bulb. (it causes premature bulb failure..due to the oils on your skin) put all the screws and door back on (will not operate without the door) plug it in wait the 90 seconds for mitsubishi to reset then your done.. here is your lamp part number

SOURCE: I replace the bulb and I'm getting a blinking

That code can often be caused by failed capacitors on the power board which will cause the 34 error for lamp abnormality. The V26 Power repair kit at www.tvrepairworld.com may fix that issue. The kit contains the replacement capacitors and has the CD with instructions.

Mitsubishi wd-60737 won't turn on just flashes red I get error code 12

Hm Code 12 is "no error". Which is odd since you have an error.

However, since the age of the TV is around 7 years, you may have the problem that the power supply is known for. The capacitors in the power supply fail.

To be safe, check the lamp and make sure its in good order. May want to change it anyway if its more than a year or 2.

How can I find out what's wrong with TV when red light flashes all the time?

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.

My 73" mitsubishi dlp WD-73827 turns off and has a red status light blinking. I have replaced the bulb and the heat sensor... any answer to what else could be the problem?

It is helpful to have the sequence of the blinking red light. This may help:

MODELS: WD-52627 / 52628 / 62627 / 62628 / 62827 / 62927 / 73727 / 73827 / 73927

3. Error Code Operational Check

Note: The TV must be in "Shut Down" and not have been switched Off, to perform the Error Code Operational

Check. When the TV is switched Off, the code automatically resets to "12" No Error.

Pressing the front panel "DEVICE" and "MENU" buttons at the same time, and holding for 5 seconds,

activates the Error Code Mode. The LED flashes denoting a two digit Error Code, or indicating no problem

has occured since the last Initalization.

Note: The front panel buttons must be used, NOT those on the Remote Control.

• The number of flashes indicates the value of the MSD (tens digit) of the Error Code.

• The flashing then pauses for approximately 1/2 second.

• The LED then flashes indicating the value of the LSD (ones digit) of the Error Code.

• The Error Code is repeated a total of 5 times.

Example: If the Error Code is "23", the LED will flash two times, pause, and then flash three times.

Flashing light mean yellow

Mitsubishi TV troubleshooting
Here's something that might also be useful. After you turn on the set, and get the regular red blinky lights, hold down the Device and Menu buttons together for about 5 seconds.
The Power light will start to flash in a two digit sequence.
For example, 3 flashes, then 7 flashes = 37.
Here are the error codes, and the corresponding problem:
12 = No error detected, check power supply.
32 = Lamp Cover is open.
33 = Air filter cover is open.
34 = Lamp abnormality
36 = Light Engine (DMD or Lamp Fan stopped)
37 = Exhaust or Lamp Ballast Fan stopped
38 = Lamp Temperature High
39 = DMD Temperature High
41 = Short is detected
44 = DVI cable between FMT and Engine disconnected

My mitsubishi flashes a red light what does that mean

Red light is usually lamp indicator---may be time to replace the lamp--they have a 2000 hour life span except for generic ones which last half that long----when was lamp last replaced? also the set does have a self check:

After you turn on the set, and get the regular red blinky lights, hold down the Device and Menu buttons together for about 5 seconds.
The Power light will start to flash in a two digit sequence.
For example, 3 flashes, then 7 flashes = 37.

Flashing orange light on mitsubishi 60737

The orange blinking light means a light bulb needs to be replaced. You should go to a Mitsubishi store and see if you can get one. Good luck
Take the old one with if you can get it out.
