Leapfrog epic need code to bypass parent code. Bought online and didnt get info.

I forgot my password and email address to my leap frog epic how do I install a game now

I was given a used LeapFrog Epic without the password. I called their tech support (1-800-701-5327) and they emailed me instructions on the simple method to reset to factory spec and you don't have to download any files to restore it. I don't know if you want to wipe all the saved files or not, but this is an option.

Would not be wise to give any code here, because it is not sure a parent or a child is asking this.

I forgot my Parent Lock code, how can I access parent settings on the LeapPad3, LeapPad Ultra, or LeapPad Platinum?If you forgot the four digit parent lock code you set up for the LeapPad3, LeapPad Ultra or LeapPad Platinum, you may retrieve the code with these steps:
1. Using a computer or other device connected to the internet, go to www.leapfrog.com
2. Click "Log In/Register" (or "My Account" if already signed in) on the top right of the page.
3. Sign in with the email address used to set up the LeapPad.
4. You'll land on the "My Account" page.
5. Click "Account Information". Directly beneath the orange "Edit" button you will see the Parent Lock code information for any LeapPad3 or LeapPad Ultra set up using this account.

IF I WERE TO FACTORY RESET MY LEAPPAD ULTRA WOULD THE PARENTAL CODE BE DELETED WITH IT?

I'm in the same position! I have no idea what to do, did you find a solution? I haven't even been able to Factory Reset because i need the parent code :/

You can bypass the Parent Lock code on the LeapPad Ultra with this combination: 1 9 6 <backspace> 8 7
Them go to the Parent Settings menu and reset your code by tapping "Reset Lock"
