The B200 error seems to be a temperature sensor problem. It typically shows up when the print head has over heated in which case turning it off for 10 - 15 minutes will get you going again. Alternatively it often shows up when the printhead has delaminated and this is unrecoverable and requires either a new print head or a new printer (often the cheaper option)

Error message B200 on Canon Mx860

Hello and Welcome to FixYa!

According to Canon's documentation, Error B200 is simply listed as a printer error (not very descriptive). It is likely a hardware fault on a board, a physical hardware malfunction.

To solve it:
Turn off the machine, and unplug the power cord of the machine from the power supply. Again connect it and turn on.
If the problem is not resolved,
then best option is to take it back where you purchased it or contact Canon service center about the error code or
To get support by Canon on phone, then call at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666)
They will surely solve it.

I hope this solution helps you

My Cannon MX860 has just posted a B200 error and won't work. Can you tell me what the solution is?

Buy a new printer because by the time you do all that, its cheeper to just throw it away. I have a PIXMA mX860 with the error b200. Only had it 3 years and took great care of it. P.S. Dont buy a Canon.
